CADline Ltd: Cymap 2008 (Build 90) | 24 April 2008
It is important to note that Cymap differs from other SBEM interface software, in that it interfaces to the iSBEM user interface rather than the SBEM calculation engine. The extent of the data that is transferred to iSBEM by Cymap is limited to the following:
- Building geometry and orientation
- Fabric properties
- Name tags for HVAC systems only
The remaining input data is intended to be entered by the user in iSBEM, and therefore was not covered by this validation process. Hence the output data was not covered in this validation process.
Stark Software International ltd: Stark Essentials (v4.0e) | 10 October 2008
It is important to note that Stark Essentials differs from other ORCalc software, in that it interfaces to the government ORCalc software via the creation of the input (*.orc) file. The extent of the data that is transferred to the government ORCalc software by Stark Essentials is limited to the following:
- Building information
- Main building benchmark
- Total building floor area
- Fuel types and corresponding consumption and dates
The remaining input data is intended to be entered by the user in the ORCalc software . The input file has been validated to be compliant with format required by the ORCalc software.
Hevacomp Ltd: Pro EP Cert (v24.21) | 04 November 2008
Pro EP Cert is a cut-down version of Design Database, which has the steady-state calculations removed from the front menu.
Hevacomp Ltd: Quick EP Cert (v24.21) | 04 November 2008
Quick EP Cert is a reduced numeric input version targeted at Level 3 Energy Assessors such that:
- the thermal bridges are hardwired so that they take the SBEM defaults, and
- user are only allowed to choose lamp type for the lighting.
Quick EP Cert uses the same SBEM interface module that Design Database and Pro EP Cert used.
