Approved software information point
This page contains additional relevant information related to software approved by CLG
CADline Ltd: Cymap (Build 166) | 28 May 2009
It is important to note that Cymap differs from other SBEM interface software, in that it interfaces to the iSBEM user interface rather than the SBEM calculation engine. The extent of the data that is transferred to iSBEM by Cymap is limited to the following:
- Building geometry and orientation
- Fabric properties
- Name tags for HVAC systems only
The remaining input data is intended to be entered by the user in iSBEM, and therefore was not covered by this validation process. Hence the output data was not covered in this validation process.
Stark Software Ltd: Stark Essentials (v4.0f) | 08 March 2010
It is important to note that Stark Essentials differs from other ORCalc software, in that it interfaces to the government ORCalc software via the creation of the input (*.orc) file. The extent of the data that is transferred to the government ORCalc software by Stark Essentials is limited to the following:
- Building information
- Main building benchmark
- Total building floor area
- Fuel types and corresponding consumption and dates
The remaining input data is intended to be entered by the user in the ORCalc software . The input file has been validated to be compliant with format required by the ORCalc software.
Bentley Systems (UK) Ltd: Pro EP Cert (v25.02) | 08 March 2010
Pro EP Cert is a cut-down version of Design Database, which has the steady-state calculations removed from the front menu.
Bentley Systems (UK) Ltd: Quick EP Cert (v25.02) | 08 March 2010
Quick EP Cert is a reduced numeric input version targeted at Level 3 Energy Assessors
Quick EP Cert uses the same SBEM interface module that Design Database and Pro EP Cert used.
eSight Energy Ltd: eSight (v2010.1) | 08 March 2010
Please note that the eSight v3.5 currently ONLY produces Display Energy Certificates and does not deal with the production of Advisory Reports. The eSight v2010.1 is an M&T software linked to metered energy consumption database, hence user will not have to manually configure assessment and measurement period for the production of DEC.
Property-Tectonics Ltd: Lifespan SBEM gDi(v3.5.a) | 05 March 2010
Lifespan SBEM gDi is a graphical-based alternative to the approved Lifespan SBEM, which is used to graphically
- create building geometry and orientation
- tag various building services options and construction properties onto rooms and/or zones
These variables are set up in LifespanSBEM prior to being exported into LifespanSBEM_gDi. LifespanSBEM_gDi could be operated independently but does not carry out SBEM calculation, which would still be executed by LifespanSBEM by retrieving exported variables from LifespanSBEM_gDi.
Greenspace Research: LiveEPC(v1.0) | 25 August 2009
Currently, LiveEPC is not able to officially execute lodgement with the Landmark Central Registry. This capability will be incorporate in due time.
