Self-assessment
The validation process, as shown in the process flow chart, requires that the software vendor carry out a self-assessment for software compatibility with validation test specification and guidance before considering putting in an application.
This is inline with the Software Testing House high-level sanity check on every application that is received before it is processed for validation. Please refer to requirement stated in the respective software class test section and the Submission Section.
The software must be able to produce these outputs on the user-end or explicitly such as to facilitate assessment.
Note: this procedure ensures smooth progress of application through to the validation process. If the test results or submission package were incomplete when submitted for validation, or there are issues hampering progress of the validation process, the application will be rejected without going through the full validation process. A new application will then be required if further intention for approval is pursued.
